Product: Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition PS5 Slim Console Covers
These are designed for gamers who already own a compatible PS5 Slim and want to give their console a more distinctive, limited-edition appearance.
One of the biggest advantages of these Wolverine PS5 Slim covers is compatibility.
They are designed for the PS5 Slim model group, including:
Sony specifically states that the covers are compatible with PS5 consoles in the slim model group and the PS5 Digital Edition Slim.
So whether you have a PS5 Slim Disc or a PS5 Slim Digital, these Wolverine Limited Edition covers are designed for the Slim chassis.
Don't confuse these with covers for the original large PS5.
These Wolverine covers are designed for the PS5 Slim model group, including CFI-2000 and CFI-2100 models.
If you have the older, larger original PS5, confirm your model before ordering.
The design takes inspiration from Wolverine's iconic yellow suit and claws.
The most noticeable feature is the dramatic claw-mark detailing, including transparent sections that let you see beneath parts of the cover. Sony describes the design as featuring Wolverine's signature yellow suit and see-through claw marks.
The result is a PS5 Slim that looks considerably more aggressive and distinctive than the standard white console.
For a gamer building a Wolverine-themed setup, the covers can be paired with the matching Marvel's Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition DualSense controller for a coordinated look. The controller is sold separately.
You may see these described online as:
PS5 Wolverine faceplates
Wolverine PS5 covers
Wolverine PS5 plates
Wolverine PS5 console covers
Wolverine PS5 Slim covers
Wolverine PS5 Slim faceplates
Marvel Wolverine PS5 covers
Marvel's Wolverine PS5 covers
For SEO, these phrases all target essentially the same buying intent.
The official PlayStation terminology is PS5 Console Covers (model group – slim), but many Kenyan shoppers are more likely to search for "PS5 faceplates" or "PS5 plates."
This listing is for the Marvel's Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 Slim console covers.
PS5 console NOT included.
DualSense controller NOT included.
Marvel's Wolverine game NOT included.
Vertical stand NOT included.
Sony's official listing makes this distinction clear: the console, vertical stand and DualSense controller are sold separately.
This is particularly important because product photographs can make the covers look like part of a complete Wolverine PS5 console bundle.
At KSh 26,000, you're buying the limited-edition console covers only.
The covers are designed to replace the standard white PS5 Slim covers.
Sony describes the installation as straightforward: remove the existing PS5 covers and click the new covers into place.
That means you don't need to purchase another PS5 just to get a Wolverine-inspired appearance.
If you already own a PS5 Slim, the covers allow you to change the external appearance while keeping the same console, games, storage and performance.
These covers make the most sense for:
The biggest attraction is appearance and exclusivity, not performance.
Your PS5 does not become faster after installing the covers. You don't get additional storage, better graphics or improved frame rates.
You are buying a limited-edition cosmetic upgrade.
KSh 26,000 is expensive for console covers.
Let's be completely honest about that.
These covers don't improve your PS5's performance. They don't increase storage. They don't improve cooling in any meaningful way simply because they have Wolverine branding. They don't give you the Wolverine game.
You're paying for the official limited-edition design, Marvel/Wolverine branding, collector appeal and exclusivity.
Sony's announced RRP for the PS5 Console Covers – Marvel's Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition is $74.99 / £64.99 / €74.99, depending on region.
Therefore, I would not market KSh 26,000 as a "cheap" PS5 accessory.
The honest marketing angle is:
If you want the Wolverine limited-edition look, these are the covers.
If you simply want a different colour for your PS5 Slim, there are much cheaper alternatives.
If you're a serious Wolverine/Marvel collector, however, the limited-edition design is the entire point.
