Honest Facts Before You Buy

We'd rather you know exactly what you're getting than be surprised later:

• This is a used, ex-UK unit — not brand new sealed stock. It's been tested and works properly, but expect normal cosmetic wear (light scuffs on the foam/plastic) consistent with a pre-owned device. Ask us for actual photos of the unit before you buy if you want to inspect condition first.
• Meta officially discontinued the Quest 2 in late 2024. It is no longer manufactured or sold new — every Quest 2 on the market now, including this one, is either old retail stock or used. This is not a flaw specific to our unit, it's the current state of the product worldwide.
• Software support has a shelf life. Meta has committed to feature updates through December 2026 and security updates through the end of 2027. After that, the headset will still physically work and run your existing games/apps, but it won't get new OS features.
• It's still genuinely good value. The Quest 2 remains a capable standalone headset — solid resolution, good tracking, a massive existing game library on the Quest Store (Beat Saber, Gorilla Tag, Population One, and hundreds more) that isn't going anywhere. At this price, it's an excellent low-risk way to try VR for the first time or get a second headset for the family, rather than a long-term "future-proof" investment.
• If you want the newest hardware with ongoing software support for years to come, the Meta Quest 3S is the current model — we're happy to source one if you'd prefer that instead.
