Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas 4 Joystick for PS4, PS5 & PC – Flight Simulator & Gaming Controller

Take your flight gaming experience to the next level with the Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas 4, a dedicated flight joystick and throttle system designed for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC gaming. Whether you're flying commercial aircraft, engaging in aerial combat or exploring space, the T.Flight Hotas 4 gives you significantly more control and immersion than a standard DualSense, DualShock or keyboard and mouse.

The T.Flight Hotas 4 is an officially licensed PlayStation flight joystick, with dedicated PlayStation controls and compatibility with supported PS4 and PS5 flight games. It is also compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs.

✈️ Complete HOTAS Flight Control System

HOTAS means Hands On Throttle And Stick, allowing you to control your aircraft using a dedicated joystick and throttle rather than relying on a conventional controller.

The T.Flight Hotas 4 features 5 axes, 12 buttons, 1 trigger and 1 hat switch, giving you multiple controls for flying, acceleration, weapons and other in-game functions.

The system includes:

- Full-size flight joystick

- Detachable throttle

- Adjustable joystick resistance

- Dual rudder control system

- Large ergonomic hand rest

- 12 buttons

- 1 rapid-fire trigger

- 1 hat switch

- 5 axes

- PlayStation PS, Share and Options buttons

- Weighted base for improved stability

- Programmable and mappable controls

- Internal memory for storing your latest configuration

🎮 PS5 & PS4 Compatible Flight Joystick

The Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas 4 PS5 joystick is officially compatible with supported PlayStation 5 games, while also supporting compatible PS4 titles. Thrustmaster currently lists games including Microsoft Flight Simulator, War Thunder and Ultrawings 2 for PS5, with additional compatibility depending on the individual game.

On PS4, compatible titles include games such as:

- Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

- Elite Dangerous

- Star Wars Squadrons

- War Thunder

- Ultrawings

- EVE: Valkyrie

- The Crew 2

- Air Conflicts

- Air Missions: HIND

- Dogfighter – World War 2

Important: the HOTAS 4 does not automatically work with every PS4 or PS5 game. The game itself must support flight-stick/HOTAS functionality.

🛫 Compatible With Microsoft Flight Simulator

If you're looking for a Microsoft Flight Simulator joystick for PS5 or PC, the T.Flight Hotas 4 is a particularly attractive option for beginners and casual flight-simulation players.

Thrustmaster lists the T.Flight Hotas 4 as Plug & Play with Microsoft Flight Simulator and War Thunder. On PC, however, the appropriate Thrustmaster driver should be installed on Windows 10/11 to ensure all axes and buttons operate correctly.

🎛️ Detachable Full-Size Throttle

One of the biggest advantages of the T.Flight Hotas 4 over a normal gaming controller is the dedicated throttle.

The full-size throttle gives you precise control over aircraft acceleration and can either be:

Attached to the joystick for a compact setup, or

Separated from the joystick for a more realistic flight-control arrangement.

This makes it suitable for use on a gaming desk or even on your lap.

🕹️ Dual Rudder Control

The HOTAS 4 provides two ways to control the rudder.

You can rotate the joystick handle around its axis, or use the progressive tilting lever. The rotation function can also be locked when you prefer to use a separate rudder-pedal setup.

For players who want even more realistic flight controls, compatible Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder Pedals can be connected separately in supported configurations.

🎯 Adjustable Resistance & Stable Design

The joystick resistance can be adjusted according to your preferred feel, while the large hand rest provides a more comfortable grip during longer gaming sessions.

The weighted base also helps keep the HOTAS stable while you're making quick movements during dogfights or adjusting your aircraft's flight path.

💻 PC Compatibility

The Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas 4 for PC works with Windows 10 and Windows 11.

For PC use, Thrustmaster recommends installing the appropriate driver. This is important because without the correct driver, some axes and buttons may not work properly.

The HOTAS can also be programmed and mapped, while its internal memory can retain your latest programming even after disconnecting the joystick.

🇰🇪 Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas 4 in Kenya

The T.Flight Hotas 4 is a great option for Kenyan gamers looking for a dedicated PS5 flight joystick, PS4 flight joystick, PC flight simulator controller, aviation gaming controller or HOTAS setup without immediately moving into much more expensive professional simulation equipment.

It is particularly suitable for gamers interested in:

- Microsoft Flight Simulator

- War Thunder

- Ace Combat

- Star Wars Squadrons

- Elite Dangerous

- Ultrawings

- Flight simulation

- Aviation games

- Space flight games

- Air combat games

⚠️ Brutally Honest: Is the T.Flight Hotas 4 Worth Buying?

Yes—but know what you're buying.

The T.Flight Hotas 4 is not a high-end professional flight simulator system. It is designed primarily for casual players and people getting started with flight simulation. Thrustmaster itself categorizes it at the casual/beginner level.

Its biggest strengths are its relatively straightforward setup, dedicated throttle, ergonomic design, PlayStation compatibility and much greater immersion than a normal controller.

If you're a beginner buying your first HOTAS for PS5, PS4 or PC, it's a very sensible option.

If you're an experienced flight-simulation enthusiast looking for the highest level of precision, premium construction and extensive controls, you may eventually want to move up to a more advanced HOTAS system.

In short: it's a good entry-level HOTAS, not a professional cockpit replacement.
