Pre-Installed PS4 Games

The console comes with a selection of pre-installed games. The advertised selection includes the following titles, with customers able to request substitutions where supported.

1. EA SPORTS FC 27

Enjoy football gameplay, matches and competitive sessions with friends. Before ordering, confirm that the exact FC 27 title is available and compatible with the console's installed software. Do not assume every newly released game will work on a chipped PS4.

2. Need for Speed Heat

Race through an open-world environment, build your car collection and experience street racing. A good choice for players who enjoy fast-paced driving and vehicle customization.

3. Mortal Kombat 11

A fighting game featuring intense one-on-one battles, distinctive characters and cinematic finishing moves. Its graphic violence makes it more suitable for mature players.

4. Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V)

Explore a large open-world environment, complete missions and experience a crime-themed action adventure. GTA V contains mature themes, strong language and violence, so it is not suitable for every age group.

5. Need for Speed Payback

Enjoy street racing, car customization and action-focused driving challenges. It offers another option for gamers who prefer racing games.

6. The Last of Us

Experience a story-driven survival adventure combining exploration, stealth and combat. Confirm which edition is installed, since different releases and versions may have different compatibility requirements.

7. God of War

Play an action-adventure experience featuring combat, exploration, puzzles and a cinematic story. Confirm the exact God of War title included in the installation.

8. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Black Ops III

Enjoy first-person shooting action with supported campaign and local gameplay features. Important: Black Ops 6 is not a native PS4 game; it was released for newer platforms, including PS5, but not PS4. It should not be advertised as a playable native PS4 installation. Black Ops III, on the other hand, has a PS4 version. Confirm which compatible Call of Duty title is actually installed.

9. Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Explore a historical action-adventure world with combat, exploration and story missions. Confirm the installed PS4 version and the available content.

10. Battlefield V

Experience large-scale World War II combat and multiplayer-focused gameplay. Online features depend on game servers, internet access, account requirements and the console's software configuration.

11. Injustice

Enjoy superhero fighting action with characters from the DC universe. Confirm whether the installed title is Injustice: Gods Among Us or Injustice 2.

Game selection note: The list above contains more than ten titles because it describes the available selection and possible alternatives. The console is advertised with 10 pre-installed games, not every listed game at once. Confirm the final ten titles with XS Discounts before purchase. Customers may request replacements, but not every requested title will necessarily be compatible or available.

What Does a Chipped PS4 Slim Mean?

A chipped PS4 has been modified to run software or games outside the console's standard supported setup. The exact functionality depends on its firmware version and the modification used.

Before buying, ask the seller to confirm:

• Which firmware version the console is running

• Which games have been tested and are playable

• Whether the installed games work offline

• Whether online multiplayer and PlayStation Network access are supported

• Whether system updates could affect the modification or installed games

• Whether the console has been tested for overheating, unexpected shutdowns and disc-drive issues

Brutally honest: a chipped console is not the right choice for everyone. Modified consoles can have restrictions, compatibility issues and reduced access to official online services. Updating the system without checking compatibility may interfere with the modification. Do not assume every game will work, that every game can be changed on request, or that online multiplayer will function normally.

Only use games and software you are legally entitled to use. Pre-installed games are not a guarantee that every title is properly licensed or that future updates will remain compatible.

Is a Used Chipped PS4 Slim Worth Buying?

A used chipped PS4 Slim can be a practical budget gaming option if you understand its limitations and the exact games installed. It is particularly attractive if you mainly play compatible single-player games offline and want a selection of titles included in the package.

However, consider these points before buying:

• It is a used console, so cosmetic wear and component lifespan can vary.

• Only one controller is included, so local multiplayer may require another controller for compatible games.

• The advertised game selection must be confirmed; not every requested title is guaranteed to work.

• Online gaming and system updates may be restricted by the console's modification.

• The exact storage capacity matters, especially when installing several large games.

• A chipped PS4 Slim should not be treated as equivalent to a brand-new console or an unmodified console with unrestricted access to official services.

Final Verdict

If you want an affordable PlayStation console with one controller and a choice of pre-installed games, this used chipped PS4 Slim may be worth considering. Confirm the storage size, firmware, final ten games, controller condition, warranty and online limitations before paying.
