DJI Osmo Mobile 7P Smartphone Gimbal – 3-Axis Stabilizer with ActiveTrack 7.0 | Price in Kenya, Nairobi
Looking for the DJI Osmo Mobile 7P price in Kenya? The DJI Osmo Mobile 7P is a premium 3-axis smartphone gimbal designed for creators who want smoother, more stable and more professional-looking videos using their phone. Whether you are creating TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube content, vlogs, product videos, travel videos or simply want better-looking family and personal videos, the Osmo Mobile 7P gives your smartphone considerably more control than simply holding your phone by hand.
The DJI Osmo Mobile 7P combines DJI's 7th-generation stabilization technology with intelligent subject tracking, a multifunctional module, an integrated extension rod and built-in tripod. It supports smartphones weighing up to 300g, making it compatible with a wide range of modern iPhones and Android smartphones.
The biggest reason to buy the DJI Osmo Mobile 7P is stabilization. Walking while recording handheld video can produce noticeable shaking and unwanted movement. The Osmo Mobile 7P uses a 3-axis gimbal system to compensate for movement and help produce smoother footage.
This makes it particularly useful for walking videos, vlogging, travel content, product demonstrations, events, social media videos and mobile filmmaking. It will not turn a smartphone into a professional cinema camera, but it can make smartphone footage look substantially more controlled and polished.
One of the standout features of the Osmo Mobile 7P is ActiveTrack 7.0. The gimbal can automatically track your subject and keep them in the frame as they move.
This is especially useful for solo content creators. You can place the gimbal down, start recording and move around while the gimbal follows you. It can also help when recording people, pets and other moving subjects.
The 7P's Multifunctional Module takes tracking further by allowing subject tracking with compatible native camera, livestreaming and other camera applications without relying exclusively on the DJI Mimo app.
The Osmo Mobile 7P's Multifunctional Module is one of the features that separates the 7P from the standard Osmo Mobile 7.
The module provides intelligent tracking, gesture control and lighting functionality, while also supporting DJI Mic Mini reception. Its magnetic design makes it easy to attach and remove when needed. The built-in fill light can be adjusted for brightness and colour temperature, making it useful when shooting in darker environments or when you need additional illumination for your subject.
The DJI Osmo Mobile 7P is designed to be more than just a handheld phone stabilizer. It incorporates an extension rod and tripod, giving creators additional flexibility without necessarily needing to carry a separate tripod.
The extension rod is useful for wider selfies, group shots and different filming angles, while the tripod allows you to put the gimbal down for hands-free recording.
For creators recording themselves, gesture control can be extremely convenient. The Osmo Mobile 7P supports gestures for starting or stopping tracking, taking photos or starting and stopping video recording, and adjusting framing.
That means you don't always have to walk back to the phone to press a button every time you want to change what the gimbal is doing.
The Osmo Mobile 7P also includes a side wheel that provides more precise control over zoom and focus. This is useful for creators who want more control over framing rather than relying entirely on touchscreen controls.
For people making more deliberate cinematic-style smartphone videos, having physical controls can make recording considerably more comfortable.
The DJI Osmo Mobile 7 Series is rated for up to 10 hours of operating time, depending on usage and conditions. The USB-C port can also be used to provide power to your smartphone, which is useful during longer filming sessions, livestreams and outdoor content creation.
The DJI Osmo Mobile 7P works with a wide range of Android and iOS smartphones, although compatibility can depend on the specific phone model, weight, dimensions and camera setup.
It is therefore worth checking compatibility with your exact smartphone before purchasing, particularly if you use a large flagship phone or a phone with a large camera module.
The Osmo Mobile 7P can be used with the DJI Mimo app, which provides additional intelligent shooting features, tracking functions and creative tools. DJI also provides tutorials for setting up and using the Osmo Mobile 7P.
The app ecosystem is one of DJI's advantages over many cheaper generic smartphone gimbals. You are not simply buying a motorized phone holder; you are also getting access to DJI's software and shooting features.
The Osmo Mobile 7P is a strong choice for:
TikTok creators
Instagram Reels creators
YouTubers
Vloggers
Influencers
Small business owners creating product videos
Real estate content creators
Travel vloggers
Event and lifestyle creators
Smartphone filmmakers
People who want smoother family and personal videos
Anyone upgrading from basic handheld smartphone recording
If you regularly create content using your phone, the Osmo Mobile 7P makes much more sense than buying it simply because it looks like professional camera equipment.
Yes — but only at the right price.
The Osmo Mobile 7P remains a feature-packed smartphone gimbal, particularly because of its 3-axis stabilization, ActiveTrack 7.0, Multifunctional Module, integrated extension rod, tripod, lighting and additional controls. However, it is not DJI's newest Osmo Mobile generation anymore. DJI's newer Osmo Mobile 8P is already available, so you should not buy the 7P expecting it to be the latest model.
That actually makes the 7P potentially more attractive for buyers looking for value for money. If the price difference between a 7P and a newer-generation model is significant, the 7P can make a lot of sense. If the prices are very close, however, it is worth comparing the newer model before making a decision.
