The Galaxy S24 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, paired with 12GB RAM. It remains more than powerful enough for demanding everyday use, multitasking, photography, video editing, gaming and productivity.
Apps open quickly, multitasking is smooth, and demanding games can take advantage of the phone's flagship hardware.
For someone upgrading from an older Galaxy S-series phone, Note series device or mid-range Samsung, the difference in performance can be substantial.
And because this is the 512GB version, you get considerably more storage than the base 256GB model.
The Samsung S24 Ultra 512GB is particularly attractive if you take lots of photos and videos, download games, keep large files on your phone or simply don't want to constantly manage storage.
512GB gives you substantially more breathing room than 256GB.
However, don't assume you can expand it later. The Galaxy S24 Ultra does not have a microSD card slot, so the storage you buy is the storage you get.
For heavy users, therefore, the 512GB version makes considerably more sense than buying the 256GB model simply because it is cheaper.
One of the S24 Ultra's biggest strengths is its display.
You get a large 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It delivers sharp text, excellent contrast, deep blacks and smooth scrolling.
Whether you're watching Netflix and YouTube, browsing social media, editing photos, reading documents or gaming, the display is one of the phone's standout features.
The high brightness also makes it well suited to outdoor use.
Brutally honest: this is a large phone. If you prefer small, lightweight smartphones, the S24 Ultra can feel bulky. The Ultra is designed for people who actually want a big screen and don't mind the size and weight that come with it.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra features a versatile camera setup:
200MP main camera
12MP ultra-wide camera
50MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom
10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom
12MP front camera
The combination gives you plenty of flexibility for everyday photography, portraits, landscapes, products, events and distant subjects.
The telephoto cameras are particularly useful if you regularly photograph subjects from a distance without wanting to physically move closer.
Here's the brutally honest part.
200MP does not automatically mean better photos than every other phone.
Camera quality depends on the sensor, lenses, stabilisation, image processing, lighting and software. The S24 Ultra's real advantage is the overall camera system and versatility, rather than the 200MP number alone.
For most everyday photos, you won't even be shooting at the full 200MP resolution.
The integrated S Pen is one of the features that separates the Ultra from most smartphones.
Use it for:
Taking handwritten notes
Annotating documents
Signing PDFs
Sketching
Editing photos
Selecting small objects on screen
Navigating the phone
Productivity and quick notes
If you work from your phone regularly, the S Pen can be genuinely useful.
If you never use a stylus, however, don't pay extra for an Ultra simply because the S Pen exists.
The S24 Ultra has a 5,000mAh battery, designed to provide strong all-day battery performance under typical usage.
Actual battery life depends on your usage. Gaming, 5G, high brightness, GPS, camera recording and intensive applications will consume significantly more power than basic calls, WhatsApp and browsing.
The phone supports 45W wired charging as well as wireless charging.
This is where buyers need to pay attention.
Ex-UK does not mean brand new.
An ex-UK phone is generally a device originally sourced from the United Kingdom and subsequently imported into Kenya. If the unit is pre-owned, it has already been used.
The physical condition and battery health therefore matter.
Before purchasing an ex-UK S24 Ultra, check:
✔ Screen condition
✔ Frame and corners
✔ Camera lenses
✔ S Pen functionality
✔ Charging port
✔ Fingerprint sensor
✔ Speakers and microphones
✔ Cameras
✔ Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
✔ 4G/5G connectivity
✔ Battery performance
✔ IMEI/device status
✔ Overall cosmetic condition
A few minor cosmetic marks on a used phone don't necessarily mean there's anything wrong with it. What matters is that the phone is fully functional and honestly described.
The main attraction is value.
You can get a premium Samsung flagship with 512GB storage without paying the full cost of buying a brand-new current-generation Ultra.
The S24 Ultra is still powerful enough for demanding users, so buying an ex-UK unit can make financial sense if you care more about flagship performance per shilling than owning the newest model.
But don't buy an ex-UK phone solely because the listing says "UK."
The condition, battery health, warranty and seller reputation are much more important than the country it came from.
Searching for the Samsung S24 Ultra 512GB price in Kenya, Samsung S24 Ultra 512GB price in Nairobi, S24 Ultra 512GB price in Kenya, ex-UK S24 Ultra price in Kenya, or used S24 Ultra 512GB price in Nairobi?
The price of an ex-UK Samsung S24 Ultra can vary significantly depending on condition, battery health, cosmetic condition, accessories, warranty and whether the device is genuinely original and fully functional.
That means buyers should compare more than just the advertised price.
A suspiciously cheap S24 Ultra may have significant cosmetic damage, a replaced screen, poor battery health, missing accessories or other issues.
A good price is one that reflects the actual condition of the phone.
For buyers searching for a Samsung S24 Ultra 512GB in Nairobi, this phone is an excellent option if you want a premium Samsung flagship without necessarily buying the latest generation.
It is suitable for:
Business users
Content creators
Photographers
Professionals
Students
Mobile gamers
Samsung enthusiasts
Heavy smartphone users
Buyers upgrading from older Galaxy models
Whether you're searching for Samsung S24 Ultra Nairobi, S24 Ultra 512GB Nairobi, Samsung S24 Ultra Kenya, ex-UK Samsung S24 Ultra Kenya, used Samsung S24 Ultra Nairobi, pre-owned S24 Ultra Kenya, Samsung S24 Ultra price in Kenya or Samsung S24 Ultra 512GB price in Kenya, the 512GB model offers an excellent combination of flagship performance and substantial storage.
When buying a pre-owned or ex-UK smartphone, the seller matters.
At XS Discounts, buyers should expect the device to be properly checked before sale rather than simply being sold based on appearance.
The phone's condition should be clearly communicated, and buyers should confirm the specific physical condition and warranty applicable to the individual unit before purchase.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 512GB is still a seriously capable flagship and is arguably a smarter purchase than a cheaper new mid-range phone if you prioritise performance, cameras, display quality, storage and productivity.
The biggest reason to consider the ex-UK version is value.
The biggest risk is buying a poorly maintained or inaccurately described used unit.
Don't buy it simply because it's labelled "ex-UK." Buy it because the specific phone you're receiving has been properly tested, its condition is honestly disclosed, the battery is acceptable, the display and cameras are clean, the S Pen works and the warranty gives you reasonable protection.
For a buyer in Nairobi, Kenya, a properly tested ex-UK Samsung S24 Ultra 512GB can be an excellent way to get genuine flagship performance and 512GB storage at a substantially more attractive price in Kenya than buying a brand-new Ultra.
The S24 Ultra 512GB is a no‑compromise flagship built for power, creativity, and future‑ready performance. With massive storage, elite camera hardware, strong battery life, and S Pen productivity, it’s perfect for creators, content pros, gamers, and anyone who wants a top‑tier mobile experience without limits.
